Hi peeps!
Here's a fun idea for Valentine's day!
Whip up a few of these crochet kissy lips and you can give kisses to everyone (completely germ-free!!)!
Mail them to relatives, give them to loved ones, stick them on random objects (like your toaster), or glue them to sticks for photo props!
I used Red Heart Super Saver yarn and a G hook.
Abbreviations are as follows:
ch = chain
sl st = slip stitch
sc = single crochet
hdc = half double crochet
dc = double crochet
Here's whatcha do:
Ch 10. Working in back loops only, sl st in second ch from hook. *sc hdc together in next ch, 3 dc in next ch, hdc sc together, sl st*. Repeat from * to *.
Ch 2.
Now we'll work along the bottom of the foundation chain to make the bottom lip. Sl st in first ch, sc, hdc, 2 dc together, 3 dc together, 2 dc together, hdc, sc, sl st. Slip stitch once more.
Finish off. Weave in ends.
Now, find some giant sunglasses and have a super-fun photo sesh in your bathroom.

Thanks, Megan! I'll be sure to submit any future patterns :)
DeleteExactly what I was looking for! :-) I am making a blanket for me daughter that is a subtle Disney princess theme, you know, apple for snow white, slipper for Cinderella, rose for belle...etc... The lips are perfect for "true loves kiss" :-) thanks!
ReplyDeleteThat sounds adorable! Glad this was helpful :)
